Select Experience

Amherst Media Internship

I am currently a production intern for Amherst Media. My duties are to handle the cameras, lights and audio equipment. I have had training in using all of these tools and work with a team of interns to run live broadcasts and record interviews, B-roll, new footage and podcasts, covering a wide range of events for the Amherst public access TV station. While working in this position I have completed assignments for management, and conduct a field report at least once a week. During this experience I have become experienced in running a smooth production and working with a team to make sure we make deadlines and provide good content for the broadcast team and editors.

MMFF Internship (2022)

I worked as an intern for the Massachusetts Multicultural Film Festival during my sophomore year of college. As part of a team of interns my duties were to help organize the events and screenings, research the filmmaker guests & create informational packets. I helped set up the festival website and moderated the livestreams we held during the event. I was also in charge of creating and managing the mailing lists on behalf of the festival. During this experience I used Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Excel & Spreadsheets and other applications to conduct project management and event coordination.

East Coast Oracles (2020-2023)

For over three years I was a founding member and organizer of an art collective called The East Coast Oracles. Through this collective I gained experience in event planning, concerts, venues, and show promotion, putting together events for hundreds of artists and art enjoyers in Massachusetts. I also assisted in the social media management of the group and artists we worked with, allowing me to get experience in content creation, managing large accounts, outreach and networking.

School of the New York Times (2019)

During the summer of 2019 I was accepted to and attended a photojournalism program with The School of The New York Times. During this program I worked under professional NYT photojournalists, learning how to write, photograph and authentically represent humanity through journalism. At the end of the program I had completed a published photojournalism project on Columbus Circle, and the Turnstile mall underneath it.
